ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPITAL OFFERS FREE TOBACCO CESSATION PROGRAM TO COMMUNITY

BUCKHANNON, WV: Did you know that smoking a pack of cigarettes a day will cost you over $1600 in a year’s time? And that as a smoker you pay more for health insurance, homeowner’s insurance and will lose money when you trade in your car and sell your home? So, to save money and improve your health, consider becoming a non-smoker. 

 
To help you in the battle against nicotine addiction, St. Joseph's Hospital is offering a free “Tobacco Cessation Program” open to the public.  This program was developed by the American Cancer Society and is funded by Mountain CAP of West Virginia. The program consists of four one-hour classes that will help you stop your use of tobacco products and show you how to maintain a healthier lifestyle without tobacco.
 
The classes are free and begin on Monday May 11 from 7 pm to 8:15 pm, continuing on three consecutive Tuesdays (May 19, May 26 and June 2) from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will be held in St. Joseph's Hospital on the first floor across from Café Pallotti. .
