NEW ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON JOINS STAFF

St. Joseph’s Hospital is very proud to announce the addition of orthopedic surgeon James J. Kim, M.D., to the staff of the Physicians of St. Joseph’s. Dr. Kim specializes in sports injuries, joint replacement, arthroscopy, arthritis, carpal tunnel, hands & shoulders, feet & ankles, and emergencies & fractures. As a diplomate of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Kim brings the highest level of excellence and compassionate care to our community.
After receiving his medical degree from Seoul National University in Korea, Dr. Kim completed internship and residencies at St. Francis Hospital and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He served patients in southern Florida for over 25 years before joining the staff at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, West Virginia in 2003. He has held academic appointments in the schools of medicine at Miami University and West Virginia University, as well as the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg.
