ST. JOSEPH’S NURSING CARE FACILITY NAMED “BEST IN THE STATE BY U. S. NEWS AND WORLD REPORT

             Sue Johnson-Phillippe, President and CEO of  St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, West Virginia is pleased to announce that St. Joseph’s Nursing Care Facility was named the “Best in the State of West Virginia” by U. S. News and World Report for the second year in a row.

            “We are very pleased that our Nursing Care Facility has received this award,” said Johnson-Phillippe.  “Our staff works very hard to ensure that our residents receive the best care possible and this recognition is confirmation of our commitment to quality health care.”

            St. Joseph’s Nursing Care Facility received five stars from the federal government’s Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  U. S. News and World Report bases its rankings on a variety of important issues including nurse to patient staffing ratio, quality of medical care and the facility’s performance in health inspections.
