DR. SALVATORE LANASA, GENERAL SURGEON, JOINS ST. JOSEPH’S PHYSICIAN GROUP
BUCKHANNON, WV-St. Joseph’s Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Salvatore LaNasa to the staff of The Physicians of St. Joseph’s. Dr. LaNasa is a General Surgeon who has previously practiced at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston and in southeastern Pittsburgh.
“We are extremely pleased to have Dr. LaNasa join the physician community at St. Joseph’s Hospital,” said Sue Johnson-Phillippe, President and CEO. “Adding Dr. LaNasa to our talented team of surgeons will be of great benefit to St. Joseph’s Hospital and to the care that we provide to our community.”
Dr. LaNasa received his degree from the University of Palermo, Italy where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He performed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, McKeesport Hospital in Pennsylvania. Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery,
Dr. LaNasa’s practice includes advanced laparoscopic surgery, breast biopsy, wound care, colonoscopy, thoracoscopy and pediatric surgery.
He speaks several languages including Spanish, Italian, French and German.
