ST. JOSEPH’S FOUNDATION 12THANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES OVER $14,000 FOR ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS SYSTEM
BUCKHANNON, WV-Despite threatening weather conditions, 133 golfers showed up to participate in St. Joseph's Foundation 12thAnnual Charity Golf Tournament held August 5th
at Snowshoe Mountain’s beautiful Raven Golf Club. The event generated over $14,000 in
net proceeds to be used toward the purchase of and Electronic Health Records System for
St. Joseph's Hospital and its affiliated physician offices.
Electronic Health Records (EHR) will radically transform patient care throughinnovation and technology. This technology is designed to improve the overall quality of health care, increase clinical workflow efficiency, decrease costs, and most importantly reduce medical errors.
